Ed Sheeran has announced 2019 headline shows alongside festival dates, which join concerts earlier in 2018Â in South Africa – at Johannesburg’s FNB Stadium on both 23 and 24 March, as well as Cape Town Stadium in Cape Town on 27 March – which has all sold out.
Running throughout May, June, July and August 2019, the newly-announced dates will take in Denmark, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Romania, Latvia, Czech-Republic, Hungary, Russia, Finland- where he will headline Sziget, which is known as Europe’s answer to Glastonbury – and Iceland, before peaking in the UK with two very special sets of homecoming shows.
The general sale starts at 10 am BST on Thursday, September 27, for all dates. don’t forget to get ready for a whacking refresh on ticket sites.

Sheeran is currently on the North American leg of his global Divide stadium tour. On this summer’s UK run, he played to more than 1.1 million people – including four nights at London’s Wembley Stadium, marking the biggest-ever solo tour [without a band] that the UK has ever seen.
Sheeran awarded an MBE for his wonderful work and services to music and charity at the end of 2017 and has won countless awards throughout his career, including four Ivor Novello, four Grammys, five BRIT awards, six Billboard awards and many, many more.
