Picking the best television had to offer was relatively easy back in the day. There were a few major networks and some cable channels dominated the attention of the nation. These days, however – thanks to the likes of Netflix and Hulu – the decision has got a whole lot difficult.
And speaking of 2018, both the new shows, as well as new seasons of the old preferences, will be gracing our television screens. David Letterman is back – and we’ll also be getting more of Jessica Jones, Handmaid’s Tale and Westworld.

My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman (Netflix)
After taking a three-year sabbatical from The Late Show, the veteran TV host is back – albeit on Netflix, and welcoming guests of the ilk of Tina Fey, Barrack Obama, Malala Yousafzai, Jaz-Z, George Clooney and Howard Stern. The first season of his new show will consist of six episodes – each of which will be released monthly and will follow an open-ended format to get the most out of David’s talents.
Mosaic (HBO)
Ever wanted to follow one character’s story in a TV series to the end? Even if you haven’t, that’s the main idea behind the $20 million project, Mosaic, which is to be aired on HBO from January, 20th. HBO has also launched the TV Series’ app for Apple TV and iOS which gives the viewers of Mosaic the option to decide its viewing order.

GOT fans may not like it but Cersei and Daenerys aren’t the sole HBO queens anymore. For, Jessica Williams and Phoebe Robinson – both of whom are best pals, HBO has decided to convert their WNYC Podcast into a filmed version. This show was taped in front of live audience and its major selling point lies in its frank discussions on romance, race, city living, and whatever else is on the “Queens’” minds at that time.
Good Girls (NBC)
Ever wondered what three tired, worn out and bored mothers could do? They could rob a bank! At least that’s what the Good Girls wants us to believe. In Mae Whitman, Christina Hendricks and Retta, we’re going to get three suburbanites whose plan of robbing a bank goes horribly out of control. Hence, if you have ever imagined about Housewife-version of breaking bad, you need to watch this show.

Hamilton, How I Met Your Mother, and Parenthood fans, be alert: TV veteran Jason Katims has teamed up with Broadway creator Jeffrey Sellers for a drama in which seven, Rust-belt, small-town kids get a chance to open up to the world via theater. What’s more, you can also say Josh Radnor, who will be playing the role of an overly-concerned Teacher.
