Disney’s fans have been waiting for a long time to see a bit more from the remake of the cartoon film – Aladdin. Now after the 1st full trailer published by Disney, we got a glimpse of the Genie himself – Will Smith.
In the new trailer the fans were exposed to the Genie’s skills and some other sides of his character.
The trailer was released on the social platform Twitter captioned “A whole new world. Watch the brand-new trailer for Disney’s #Aladdin, in theatres May 24.”
Fans was excited and said –
- “Now THATS WHAT IM TALKIN ABOUT !!!”
- “IM SO READY FOR THIS”
- “Yeah I was lil bit skeptical about Will Smith playing Genie, but now I am convinced.”

The movie will be in theaters on May 24th, 2019. Aladdin is one of many remakes by Disney –

- The Jungle Book – 2018
Will Smith shared his thoughts about playing the Genie after the unforgettable role of Robin Williams (who passed away on 2014) -“I was terrified doing the Genie after Robin Williams… But I found a lane that pays homage. It is my own thing, you know? So, I think people are going to love it”. Smith talked about his experience and added – “It’s one of the greatest filmmaking experiences that I have ever had. I have worked at most of the studios, and Disney just knows what they are doing… It was really a spectacular team of people that came together around a classic story. It’s so spectacular, it’s such a beautiful movie and I can’t wait for people to see it.”
