Bohemian Rhapsody may be rocking it at the box office, but it’s received a mixed reception due to what some critics perceive as a ‘surface level’ examination of Freddie Mercury’s life, it’s pretty apparent that Rami Malek has captured the beautiful enduring spirit of Mercury.

The 37-year-old actor said to have watched Freddie Mercury’s 1985 Live Aid Performance more than 1,500 times on YouTube- because he wanted to nail his version of it- every hand gesture, step, head movement and even the pursuit of his lips matches up perfectly with Mercury’s as can be seen when both performances are put side-by-side.

It’s totally understandable why people completely freak out in the social network after watching the movie:

Speaking to WHO Magazine, Malek said: “I just kept pushing for more of that aspect of his life. “I don’t know if we ever felt fulfilled by it.”
What do you think? Rami should be nominated for an Oscar for this performance?
THAT IS AMAAAAZING OMG WOW. If Rami isn't nominated for an Oscar for this performance I will riot.
