Most of us know that the upcoming sequel of Spider-Man will see Tom Holland swinging in places other than New York as well.
What Holland revealed today, however, was what we didn’t know in advance; that the name of the upcoming Spiderman movie will be “Far from Home”.
Holland chose his Instagram account to reveal the name of the upcoming, where he uploaded a short video which starts with him apologizing for the lack of news on the upcoming movie.
The “Far from Home” title of the upcoming movie confirms that the film’s setting will be away from Forest Hills, Queens.
If that happens, then the upcoming movie will be the first among the Spider-Man franchise which would be set outside New York.
Rumors abound that among the many destinations which are favorite to host the upcoming movie, London is on the top of the list.
Marvel Studios and Sony’s “Spider-Man: Far From Home” will hit worldwide cinemas on July 5, 2019.
Its timing suggests that “Far From Home” will follow “Avengers 4”, as the latter opens two months before, in May 2019.
Director Jon Watts, who is returning for the sequel, confirmed last year that the movie would see Spider-Man dealing with the fallout from Infinity War. Also featuring in the movie would be Joe Gyllenhaal in the character of villain Mysterio.
It was way back in 1964 that Mysterio became a member of the Spider-Man universe.
He is known to Marvel Comics’ fans as a bubble-headed villain who uses deception and illusion to defeat his opponents. And as you might guess, the main opponent of Mysterio is none other than Spider-Man himself.
